6 Days / 5 Nights Cairo – Luxor – Cairo

Explore the ancient Egyptian sites of Cairo and Luxor with this five-day, four-night guided tour, complete with a private guide and round-trip airfare between Cairo and Luxor.

Day 1: Cairo
Welcome to Egypt and the start of your family holiday! Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day 2: The Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara
Today you will enjoy a full-day tour of the pyramids, sphinx, and Saqqara. Start by visiting the Giza Plateau where sits the legendary pyramids and iconic Sphinx figure. You will also visit the Solar Boat Museum, Leaving the pyramids behind us, we will travel on to the necropolis of Saqqara, the famed city of the dead, and the site of the famous step pyramid of king Djoser.

Day 3: Luxor 2 Night
Today, you will be transferred to the Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to check-in. Luxor is a city often called the world’s greatest open-air museum, later in the afternoon, we visit Karnak temple, Egypt’s finest ancient temple, and the huge columned great Hypostyle, the greatest architectural marvel known to man.

Day 4: Valley of the Kings Luxor OverNight
After breakfast visits the West Bank and the burial ground of the Pharaohs. The first stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon the two huge seated statues of Amenhotep III.
Crossing back over to East Bank we will return to our hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to discover the city on your own.

Day 5: Cairo / Egyptian Museum 1 night
Upon our morning arrival in Cairo, we will transfer to the hotel for check-in. This morning, visit the world-famous Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. If you wish to visit the Royal Mummies room, you will need to purchase a separate ticket.
Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the city’s major souks (open-air marketplaces). Be ready to negotiate and test your negotiating skills, before returning you to your hotel.
